Welcome to Second Wave 👋
We are a youth arts centre in Deptford and all our programmes are FREE for young people aged 11-25 years.
Sessions bring a mix of
drama games, acting, devising, song writing, music, film, photography, writing and media. 🎭 🎤 🎥 🥳
We also offer work experience, volunteering,
traineeships, production, events and outreach project.

Free Workshops for Young People
Fusion for 11-16 yrs
Saturdays 12 - 2pm from Sat 4 May - 20 July
Drama games and confidence building
A fun and friendly group, Saturday Fusion is a great way to develop your skills and confidence.
No experience needed and new people are always welcome. 👍
Summer term workshops start on Sat 4 May 2024 and run every Saturday until 20 July.
Underground for 14-18 yrs
Saturdays 3-5pm from Sat 11 May - 20 July
Performance skills and Writing
Gain new skills in acting, writing, lyrics, music and performance.
No experience needed and new people are always welcome.
Summer term workshops start on Sat 11 May 2024 and run every Saturday until 20 July.

Work Experience

We believe that young people need a person-centred approach to bring out their strengths and build
their resilience. We also believe that placing young people at the heart of decision-making is one
of the best ways for our communities to learn and grow together.

Second Wave has been placing youth voices in the heart of local decision making for over 40 years.
We have extensive experience in supporting young artists, creating new materials, working with educational settings to deliver youth-led workshops, and developing youth-centred dialogue and practice.
