How you can help
Second Wave Youth Arts can only fulfill its important mission with the support of people like you.
Based in the heart of Deptford, SE London - for 40 years Second Wave has been empowering young people to speak truth to power and affect change in their communities.
We are pleased to accept the Queen's Award for Voluntary Service on behalf of our young volunteers, members, staff and partners who have helped us to deliver our work with young people in the community.
"Second Wave provides excellent, award-winning education and youth arts programmes... making a significant, unique contribution to community engagement and social justice, and influencing local, London-wide and international best practice in youth arts engagement."
- Prof. Jill Jameson, University of Greenwich
